From 28th March to 1st April 2013, Art Paris Art Fair brings together 144 galleries from 20 countries under the glass roof of the Grand Palais. Art Paris Art Fair is the main springtime event for modern and contemporary art. It is unique in being a European fair dedicated to the promotion of the art scenes of the East – Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Asia. This year for the first time, it has invited a country as guest of honour: Russia.

With this year’s selection, the fair is profoundly renewed and increasingly international
This year sees 74 newcomers, which means that the 2013 selection brings profound change. With 20 countries represented (compared to 16 in 2012), the fair is also more international than ever before - 43% of participants are from abroad. Several countries are coming for the first time including the United Arab Emirates, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Slovenia and Russia with an unprecedented 10 participating galleries.
