5th Base are delighted to present a selection of brand new screen-printed works by Drift from the 17th till 20th April 2014.

A collective of like-minded artists and purveyors of prints, drift is all about the collaborative; taking part in live art events and promoting printmakers. driftLDN started life as a market stall on brick lane and has evolved to include gallery and pop up shows with elements of live interactivity and more.

Craig Keenan is a print maker, illustrator and photographer from Devon, now living and working in London. Drawing on inspiration from the rural and urban aspects of life, he combines his love of photography illustration and screen printing, to create works that focus heavily on balanced compositions, textures and bold colours.

Benjamin Rider is a London-based illustrator and Print maker. He specializes in making vibrant, edgy work with a punky vibe. His work is built up from a dense hybrid of drawings, collaged imagery and multi-layered colours. Ben is a big fan of offsets, drips and imperfections to create an energetic aesthetic.

Raiph Vaughan is a London based illustrator and print maker focusing heavily on comic art. He combines a sketchy and messy style with precision print making to create a fresh and contemporary feel for some classic characters.

Opening Thursday 17th April at 6pm with live on-site screen printing session courtesy of Jealous Gallery. Strictly limited to 150 unique, signed prints each hand-finished by the artist as they come off the press. Music from DJ’s Stelfox & Alex Rae.
