Mina Kordali, a recognised artist from Athens, is delighted to present her new works of art entitled: Ρoές Φωτός - Streams of Light, at the Hellenic Centre, London. 

The works presented at the Hellenic Centre are innovative constructions made of canvas, paper, wood and illuminating neon tubes which aim to show how light, as a dominant element of creation and communication has the power to transform.

Mina Kordali was born in Athens where she lives and works. She studied Economics at the National Kapodistrian University in Athens. Her love and passion for the Arts led her to study at École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts (ENSBA) in Paris where she studied painting and drawing under well-known professors Frédéric Prat and James Bloedé; at the Athens School of Fine Arts she studied painting close to the widely known professors Chronis Botsoglou, Manolis Baboussis, Christos Palamides, and Vassiliki Psarrou.

Over the years, she has shown her works in prestigious art galleries in Athens and internationally: “In the Rhythm of Color”, Titanium Yiayiannos Gallery-Athens, Greece, 2009; ‘Music Session’, in Gallery Catherine Niederhauser in Lausanne, Switzerland, 2010 and at many other exhibitions. “Streams of Light” exhibition a “Skoufa Gallery”, June 2013. She has also participated in various group exhibitions as well as internationally and in Athens at the 4th Athens Art International Art Festival in Bibliotheca Alexandria-Egypt, 2013; in a cultural event by the Greek Embassy in Abuja and Lagos Nigeria (2009); and at Technopolis Gazi, Athens (2008) and at other galleries. Many of her works are now hosted in private collections in Greece and other countries.
