With great superheroes, comes great fan art and in celebration of these super beings we've all grown to love, both in print and on the big screen, we will be paying homage to some of our favourite characters by dedicating our next Sail exhibition to them!

With countless adaptions of classic heroes and the rise of blockbuster movies, we hope to add some fresh twists to the characters that have inspired us throughout our lives.

Featuring: Adam Brazier, Benjamin Badbones, Coney, Darren John and Rosie Woods.

Adam Brazier is quickly building a reputation as one of the forefront super-realist portrait painters in the medium of spray paint. He continues to push the medium forward with his interpretation of contemporary cultural icons.

Benjamin Badbones has been painting graffiti since 1999. His is one of the most versatile artists whose work has journeyed though themes of repetition, iconography and pop culture.

Coney studied Graphic Design at Central Saint Martins before delving into the realm of Graffiti and Street Art. Her works always are always heavily focused towards around illustration and typography styles.

Much of Darren John's work promotes off-kilter, character-driven concepts that combine a playful approach to colour with a burning enthusiasm for composition.

Rosie Woods’ artwork is primarily concerned with organic and sinuous forms in conjunction with geometric patterns. Traditionally working with oil paints, recently she has found liberation in scale, speed and a new direction with spray paints as she continues to develop her artistic style.
