The title of the show wants to remind of the 1984 song by Bronski Beat. In the video a young boy is forced to leave his hometown in order to live freely his homosexuality in the big city.

Bologna is not a smalltown, but neither a big city, and sometimes its provincial attitude (which can be negative but sometimes positive too) builds walls of incomprehension that divide the diverse cultural areas of the territory.

The exhibition wants to address this aspect of our area, recounting the different worlds of the participating artists, whilst being a moment of conviviality for the city artists before the winter break.
