"Can students' artwork, produced for external assessment, retain true artistic integrity? Can their teachers, who are also art practitioners, perform both roles successfully? Judge for yourself at an exhibition by students and teachers from WMSF Visual Arts department."

William Morris Sixth Form in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham was established in 1994 as the country’s first 16-19 school. WMSF is renowned as a centre of inclusive excellence for 16-19 students from West London and beyond.

We work in partnership with secondary schools in the borough and also offer places to a wide range of students from across London (our present students come from over 100 schools or colleges).

The Art Block is a purpose-built suite of studios where drawing, painting, print-making, textiles, photography, ceramics, sculpture and art history are studied. It has been developed around an existing large general purpose studio, with the addition of a digital photography suite and a ceramics/sculpture studio. All the studios are well resourced for the delivery of courses in the various specialist art disciplines and have recently been upgraded to include access to a new Mac network. The annual exhibitions within the area reflect the tremendous achievement of our staff and students and are a constant source of pride.
